Prof Suhrita Saha

Professor Suhrita Saha is heading the department of sociology in the prestigious institute named Presidency University in Kolkata.

She holds a PhD in sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has been teaching in Presidency since 2013.

Dr.Saha has been interested in understanding the society using her exper sociological lens and believes in bringing about a constructive and sustained change in the world. She has been associated with Board of Studies Member, and has served prestigious positions as a Joint Coordinator of NAAC,Examination Centre In Charge,Routine Committee In charge, etc.

As part of her the advisory team for Rangeen Khidki, Dr.Saha has been a constantly guiding the team in the bridging the gap between theory and practice so as to create impactful changes through its work.
